First and foremost here is the doctor’s taking of the complete medical history. This is especially important for chronic complaints and complicated clinical pictures. We plan a long appointment of one hour for this so that we have ample time to listen to the patient. It is possible to recognize the causes of the different complaints and their interrelationships only through the detailed, individual medical history. This serves as the basis of the analysis and for working out a treatment plan with a holistic concept.

The findings of the physical examination contribute to the diagnosis. If necessary, an ultrasound examination of the abdomen would be carried out.

The tongue and the pulse would be examined for the diagnosis according to Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Basic laboratory tests of urine and blood complete the general diagnostic procedures.
